    What the press say

As soon as I pull away, I can feel that there is a different feel about the car, it’s been transformed. As I venture along a long straight on the private Surrey test-track, the firm yet supple ride becomes very apparent, and any wallowing usually associated with the breed has disappeared.

I positively charge into the first banked left-hander and, whereas on a standard ‘B the back end is always looking to step out a little, this blighter digs in and grips superbly. The turn-in is very positive, enabling the car to be pushed in harder to the corner, as well as taking a tighter, almost racing line.

After about 10 laps of the 2 mile circuit, I really don’t want to come back into the service area, such is the quality of the handling

I was particularly impressed with the comfort of the ride and the quality of the handling.

The benefits of the new front suspension are immediately evident, with a more precise feedback through the steering and greatly improved ride standard.

    What MG Specialists say

We prepare and race an MGB with the Hoyle front and rear suspension kits. In 2003 this car won our British Sports Car Cup championship outright, in which there were 70 competitors. The championship comprises slaloms, hill climbs, and circuit racing, and is held in Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland. Our driver has been competing for the last 7 years and the suspension improvements have now given him the competitive advantage to win.

Maidstone Sports Cars have now fitted the Hoyle front and rear suspension to many customers’ cars including the RV8. The front suspension is not only a vast improvement over the standard ‘B set up but also superior to the RV8 conversion that is now available to ‘B owners. If both front and rear are fitted it transforms the car on the road to feel like a mini Jag XJS.

By using the independent suspension kits offered by Hoyle Engineering we can give our customers the handling ability of a modern sports car with the style and character of a classic.
